In July 2019, Knight Frank Finance established their Later Life Finance team; offering a dedicated Equity Release service with a particular specialism in dealing with high net worth clients.

Their people – The Later Life Finance team is led by David Forsdyke, who has over 15 years’ experience in the equity release market. In 2009 David joined the FCA and became regarded as a subject matter expert on equity release. David has also spent over 2 years as Head of Compliance for lifetime mortgage provider Retirement Advantage (now Canada Life) and was a member of the Equity Release Council Standards Board.  He now sits on the Council Risk Committee and their advisory panel. More recently, David set up and ran Access Equity Release, before being headhunted to join Knight Frank Finance. David is supported by a team of advisors who are specialists in equity release.

Their expertise – Knight Frank Finance is a whole-of-market broker, able to support clients at all levels of the market. The team also specialise in high net worth equity release lending, regularly managing loans of over £1,000,000. The team has extensive experience of advising clients with complex financial circumstances, involving inheritance tax and estate planning.

Their commitment to clients – Since the launch of their Later Life Finance service in July 2019, the team has secured an average interest rate for clients of 3.18% (industry average is 4.48%). Our clients also appreciate that, unlike many other equity release advisors, we charge a comparatively low fixed fee regardless of loan size.

They are committed to finding the best Equity Release solution for your client, however if an alternative solution is the best option, for example a normal mortgage, they will refer the client back to you.
