What do Stafford Railway offer?

Stafford Railway specialise in Ex-Pat buy to lets, new builds, complex incomes, self-build properties, retirement properties and repatriation mortgages.

Expat buy to lets:

    • Lend in a wide range of countries including Australia, Hong Kong and Dubai
    • New build houses and flats up to 70% LTV 
    • Holiday lets up to 70% 

New build:

      • 90% LTV on all houses and flats
      • Builder incentives and builder gifted deposits
      • Section 106’s and over 55’s apartments 

Complex income:

  • Manual underwriting of every case
  • Retained profits (previous financial year only) 
  • Multiple income streams 

Self-build (through Buildstore):

  • Manual 85% LTV for purchase of land and property
  • Renovations and structure conversions 
  • Interest only available during the build 

Retirement properties:

  • Release capital for a variety of personal needs
  • Day 1 remortgages 

Repatriation mortgages:

  • No minimum tie back in the UK required
  • No minimum time employed 
  • Large loans of £500k plus 

Registration process

In order to submit mortgages to the Society, you first need to register by completing and signing a registration form. Once completed, the form should be scanned and emailed to brokers@srbs.co.uk* or posted to Stafford Railway Building Society, 4 Market Square, Stafford, ST16 2JH.

Before you register please take note of the following:

  • Please select all the mortgage clubs/ lending partners that you currently use
  • Please ensure your email address is entered correctly as Railway will send confirmation of registration by email

Registration Process:

  1. Download the form: Intermediaries Registration Form and T&C (pdf) or Intermediaries Registration Form and T&C (word)
  2. Fill in the form on your computer and print it off
  3. Sign where requested
  4. Scan the form and email/ post to either of the above addresses
  5. Please include a copy of the following:-
  • A copy of your current professional indemnity insurance
  • Please notify Stafford Railway of any changes to your company by completing a new Registration form and sending a scanned copy to brokers@srbs.co.uk
  • Please notify Stafford Railway of any changes to your advisers i.e. leavers, by emailing them directly
  • A new registration form should be completed for any new advisers joining your firm
